Can an aide be changed or discontinued without parent consent?

If an aide is listed in a child's IEP as a support, accommodation, or service, the aide cannot be discontinued without an IEP meeting. Undivided's Education Advocate, Lisa Carey, says to watch out for wording such as "additional classroom support as needed," which can allow for changes without parental consent.
