Can I add food sensitivities to my child's IEP?
Published: Oct. 31, 2025Updated: Oct. 31, 2025
If your child has an IEP, you can add any feeding challenges or accommodations your child has related to food sensitivities. For example, you may want to write that your child should only eat food provided from home.
You can also let the school know about your child's food sensitivities outside of the IEP because food issues are not unique to kids with IEPs.
