Can I put just one area of the IEP into stay put?

In California, if you agree with everything in the IEP except one thing, such as a reduction in service hours, it's possible to sign with an exception in that area and keep stay put in that one area.
Due process is often how districts work out stay put. Some take longer to file than others.
