Debunking Inclusion Myths: “Our School Doesn’t Do Inclusion” | Inclusion | Undivided

Published: Apr. 26, 2024Updated: Apr. 26, 2024

The Undivided team debunks some common myths surrounding inclusion for kids with disabilities in school. Some schools might tell parents, “We don’t do inclusion.”

Dr. Caitlin Salone explains why that myth is wrong, and what parents should do about it. Dr. Salone is an education advocate, teacher-educator, and Administrator for the Disability Studies program at UCLA, where she teaches courses, develops curriculum, and engages in collaborative research. Also in the discussion is Lindsay Crain, Undivided’s Head of Content & Community.
