How do I apply for IHSS back pay?

If your child has been approved for retroactive IHSS benefits, you should be able to request back pay by filling out a timesheet on your IHSS portal. Go into the portal and click on Supplemental Timesheets.

If the timesheets are not showing up in the system, you may need to submit a support ticket to the IHSS helpdesk or call payroll for assistance.

Note that in order to claim back pay or prorated pay as the parent provider, you need to fill out the timesheets; it is not automatic.
