How do I find a summer camp to help my child work on a specific skill?

Published: Mar. 10, 2026Updated: Mar. 10, 2026

Some parents are looking for camps that are supported by mental health professionals, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals who can facilitate things like social skills or executive functioning. Our annual summer camp lists are organized by region and then topic area. See the “Therapeutic Camps” section of your region to find camps that may offer a focus on occupational therapy or executive functioning. You could also look in the “Adaptive Sports” section for camps that work on strength building with a physical therapist or other professional.
