How do I know what diploma my child is on track to receive?

Your child may be working to receive a standard high school diploma, a diploma via the new alternate pathway (about 3% of students), or a certificate of completion. How do you know what your child is on track to receive? Non-attorney education advocate Lisa Carey says that your student's diploma track should be written into the IEP, so if it's not, ask that the school clarify and add it to the IEP document.
