Behavior is not a prerequisite for inclusion! In reality, the majority of students do not learn best in a "typical" classroom. Dr. Caitlin Solone, special education advocate and faculty at UCLA, explains that an inclusive classroom where students are able to stand, use fidgets, and take breaks creates an environment where they are excited to learn and feel their needs are met.
