If my child has Medi-Cal, can I purchase a private PPO?

Some families want to purchase private insurance plans to get better coverage for therapies and medical treatments. You can purchase a private plan in addition to Medi-Cal, but you can’t get it through the Covered CA marketplace. Covered CA plans are already subsidized, so you can't have a subsidized plan and Medi-Cal.
