Is the ending of a subsidized COBRA plan a “qualifying event” to get on another insurance like through the ACA marketplace/Covered CA?

Director of Health Plan Advocacy Leslie Lobel says that it should be, yes. It should become open enrollment when you have a qualifying event. When anyone on your plan has a documented disability, it has been suggested that there is on extension of Cobra for additional months of coverage.
If it's an employer-provided plan, show the end date of coverage letter to the HR department at the employer. Double-check to make sure. Also, ask if any dollars that you’ve accrued toward the deductible on your COBRA plan can be used for credit on the new plan.
