What are placement options for a child with an IEP?

Undivided's Education Advocate, Lisa Carey, explains that there is a placement hierarchy: least restrictive being a typical classroom, most restrictive being residential placement. The IEP will specify the amount of time a child will spend outside a typical classroom. It's important to pay attention to these minutes and how these minutes are being used.
