What is PLOP?

To be an effective advocate for our children, we have to understand the process and the "why" of accessing their education. PLOP or Present Levels of Performance is a key part of the IEP that shows how your child is currently doing in school and is the foundation for the rest of the IEP. By tracking levels of performance over time, you can see in what areas your child needs more support and where they are making progress with the supports already in the IEP.
