What is the difference in picking vendors for traditional Regional Center services vs. the Self-Determination Program?

According to Iris Barker, Undivided's Self-Determination Consultant, it is more flexible for vendors to work with the FMS in the Self-Determination Program. They don’t have to apply to be a vendor with Regional Center like they would with traditional funding, which can be a process.
