What services can get funded with Self-Determination?

There is no cheat sheet of what services are guaranteed to be funded in the Self-Determination Program. However, you can look at the Purchase of Service Standards on your Regional Center’s website. Each Regional Center has different service standards, so this can give you a guideline of what your Regional Center is likely to approve.

Some common SDP services are a health and wellness coach, recreational activities, respite services, vehicle modifications for accessibility, and more. You can check out a long list and more information in our article Self-Determination Program (SDP) 101.
