What should I do if my child's DOR counselor is unresponsive?

If your child is applying to or enrolled in services from the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and your counselor is unresponsive or unhelpful, your first step should be to contact their supervisor for help.
You can consider filing a complaint if your case worker is not responsive.
Another resource for getting help with DOR issues is the Client Assistance Program, which is run by Disability Rights California. You can also reach out to the California State Council for Developmental Disabilities even if your child is not a Regional Center client.
