Where can I get help to appeal a denial for WPCS hours for my child?

Published: Feb. 27, 2026Updated: Feb. 27, 2026

We can’t give legal advice for your Medi-Cal appeal, but if you go online to view previous departmental hearings, you can often search to see if previous hearings touched on this topic or set a precedent. You can also reach out to Disability Rights California, a nonprofit legal agency. (Every state has its own protection and advocacy agency, and DRC is California’s.) They’re unlikely to represent you at a hearing, but they may be able to provide information to help you prepare your argument.
