Who Is Responsible for Creating a 504 Plan

Non-Attorney Education Advocate Hadassah Lynn Foster explains that 504 plans don’t have to be written, and parents aren’t legally required to be part of creating them. Unlike IEPs, schools aren’t obligated to involve parents or even notify them when a 504 plan is made.
