Welcome,

Sterling Institute family!

We are proudly partnered with Sterling Institute for Autism to help families like yours access the care, support, and resources their kids need and deserve. The Sterling team would like to share some of our free resources with you, and make you aware of the Undivided Kickstart program. Allow us to take a moment to explain how we might be able to help you!

Undivided is designed for parents of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities, providing a vital platform that demystifies the complexities of accessing care. We equip you with the knowledge and tools to efficiently navigate insurance, special education, and public benefits, ensuring you don’t have to start from scratch. With Undivided, you can not only accelerate your child’s access to necessary services but also significantly reduce your effective out-of-pocket costs. Typically, members unlock tens of thousands in public benefits they had not previously realized were available.

We’re here to ensure your child accesses the necessary services at the right time.

Get started with your Kickstart!

The Undivided Kickstart is a free, no-strings-attached offering. During this 10-day period, you’ll be paired with a dedicated Navigator who will work with you over two Zoom sessions (and unlimited messaging if you wish) to develop a custom roadmap tailored to your family’s unique needs. Your roadmap will include specific goals, required documents and notes, and step-by-step guides and resources in a secure digital binder to help you become the organizational powerhouse you never imagined possible.

After the Kickstart period, you can pursue the roadmap on your own or sign up for a paid membership that provides access to a wealth of benefits, including your Navigator who will help you find your wins faster than you could do alone, and will support you at every turn.

Why do I need a Kickstart?

The reality is, families raising kids with disabilities and learning differences need and deserve support. We know because our team has been there: We wrestled with uncertainty and fear over new diagnoses. We felt overwhelmed and isolated going down internet rabbit holes in search of information. We felt the stress of caregiving, the pressure of not enough hours, the professional and financial loss of needing to leave a job in order to try to tackle navigating benefits, services, insurance, and more.

The good news? We used all of this collective experience as fuel to build a team of experts to bring families support, solutions, and relief. And it starts with the Undivided Kickstart.

Working with my Navigator, Beth has entirely changed my perspective. I went from feeling like a victim to feeling like a champion.

How does a Kickstart work?

All you need to do is create an account with us then schedule your Kickstart. You will then have access to: 1) Step-by-step guides, resources, and checklists developed by our editorial and research teams in tandem with interdisciplinary experts; 2) One of our incredible Navigators.

Our Navigators are parents who leverage their own personal experience, as well as insights from working with thousands of other families navigating similar paths to care for their children. And while you will work with one dedicated Navigator, they are supported by a team of researchers, advocacy experts, and public benefits specialists who all thrive on finding solutions and opportunities for Undivided families.

If you’re still unsure about signing up, we encourage you to watch this video, to hear from other parents about what it has been like to work with Undivided.
