National Down syndrome organizations
NDSC: The National Down Syndrome Congress holds an annual conference which many families attend.
NDSS: The National Down Syndrome Society also advocates on a national level and offers support through local chapters and affiliates.
NDAC: The National DS Advocacy Coalition, sponsored by NDSC, advocates for children with DS and their families on a national level.
BDSA: The Black Down Syndrome Association supports Black families and connects them with medical, educational, and other resources.
CDAC: California Down Syndrome Coalition unites Down syndrome organizations throughout California.
DSI: Down Syndrome International organizes World Down syndrome Day and advocates for individuals with DS globally.
DSE: Down Syndrome Education founded by Sue Buckley offers an international research library and the SEE & LEARN program for young children.
Global DS F: Global DS Federation is a network of affiliated research centers focused on research to support individuals with DS.
Lumind IDSC: Lumind initially focused on research to improve cognitive function and joined with the IDSC to create an international community of parents advocating for scientific research focused on treatment options rather than prenatal testing.
