Teaching consent is not just about protecting kids from harm. It’s about helping them have more fulfilling social relationships, too. There are a lot of resources out there on teaching kids about consent, so look for materials that teach consent as a positive ongoing process and that will be fun and engaging for kids. Our kids need to learn about consent in everyday interactions in all kinds of relationships and situations.
