As parents, we want our kids to gain independence with their morning rituals: all the little tasks we need to do to be healthy and prepared to face our day. Here is some advice from a special education teacher:
- Read stories
- Break tasks into small steps
- Use visual reminders
- Practice
- Use small rewards or reinforcers
