Ideally, before the first day of school, you’ll prepare a few things:

  • Create an IEP at a glance for new teachers and providers
  • Schedule a campus orientation tour if your child is moving to a new school or even part of the school
  • Create a visual schedule for your child’s new routine
  • Make a packing list for all the items that need to go in their backpack, such as medications

You can read more about how to prepare and get free printables and templates in our Back to School Toolkit!
