What do I need to do to prepare for my kid’s first day of school?
Published: Sep. 15, 2022
Ideally, before the first day of school, you’ll prepare a few things:
- Create an IEP at a glance for new teachers and providers
- Schedule a campus orientation tour if your child is moving to a new school or even part of the school
- Create a visual schedule for your child’s new routine
Make a packing list for all the items that need to go in their backpack, such as medications
