What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that seeks to improve or teach specific behaviors in areas such as social skills, communication, self-care, and academics. It is most often used to support individuals with autism. ABA looks at what happens immediately before, during, and after a behavior occurs in order to create an intervention plan.
