With the end of the school year comes a big transition for our kids as they approach summer break and their daily routine changes. You can help them prepare by reading this visual story together and talking about upcoming changes, family plans, and fun activities to look forward to while school is out.

We have two versions of our printable visual story: one that talks about a break from school and one that includes room for extended school year (ESY) or summer school, so you can help your child know what to expect from their new summer schedule. Both versions have a page to fill out your child's weekly calendar for a helpful visual aide.

Both visual stories also talk about staying safe while having fun in the sun! If you have a trip to the pool or beach planned this summer, be sure to also check out our water safety visual story.
